From the village plaza in Galtür to the Alpinarium, continue on to Wirl. At the Alpina guest house, keep right in the direction of Jamtal.
Forest trail to the Larein Alpe, 13 kilometres

- Cheese making demonstrations, pond in the forest with barbecue pits
Take the Uferweg or Weilerweg to Tschafein. Cross the bridge across the Guesthouse Edelweiß, follow the driving route to the fork called Stafali. Follow the trail for about half an hour until you reach the Lareintal fork. Follow it to the alpine meadow.
