Birkhahnbahn summit station - Kopsstausee-Zeinisjoch-Galtuer – intermediate level – 1 hour
You can easily reach the Birkhahnbahn summit station (2,213 m) by chair lift. The descending trail will lead you past the Breitspitzbahn and finally will take you to the shoreline path of the Kopfstausee reservoir. Then you can either keep to the left and walk over the dam wall to the Kopsstausee kiosk or follow the path to the right along the shore, which leads directly to the Gasthof Zeinisjoch inn. There you can eat a delicious meal. The places to stop for a drink or a bite to eat offer a beautiful view of the Kopsstausee reservoir and its dam, as well as an impressive alpine panorama that stretches well into the neighbouring Montafon valley.
Sunny Mountain – Bergwiesenweg trail – intermediate level – 2 hours
A hot tip for your hiking holidays with the family in Tyrol: take the Dias-Bahn cable car up to the Sunny Mountain amusement park. This adventure wonderland is situated at 1,830 m and offers its young visitors lots of games, fun and action. Indian tents, tree houses, a large lake and slides - just to name a few of the things you and your children can expect. The way back can either be tackled by foot through the mountain meadows back to Kappl or you can take the Dias-Bahn cable car back down. It's a great highlight for a day of hiking with children in Tyrol.
Health and Wellness Park
Starting from See you can take the Medrigjochbahn cable car up to the Heath and Wellness Park. At the various wellness stations you can experience real relaxation. Located in the middle of the alpine forest, both young and old are in for a special day. You can go kneipping, have a foot massage, be spoiled by aromatic essences and much more. Idalpe - Paznauner Thaya – beginners level – 1 to 1.5 hours
In the summer you can also take the funicular up to the Idalpe at 2,308 m. From there follow the route down to the right, passing Videralp to reach the Höllkar. Then take the trail in the direction Sassgalun to reach the Paznauer Thaya. Once you are there, take the trail to the Mittelstation (middle station) to Ischgl. The Paznauer Thaya is a farmed alpine pasture and offers many homemade specialties for you to try.
