STARTING SHOT FOR A FAMILY WINTER FULL OF NOVELTIES IN KAPPL AND SEE
Families take note: In December, Paznaun will open its family skiing areas in Kappl on the 16th and See on the 17th December 2011. New in Kappl: The first permanent Zibob®-run in the world, early birds' runs and lots of family benefits in the newly founded Sunny-Mountain member establishments. New in See: Ski-Hit passes with attractive discounts in the skiing area
On 16th and 17th December, Kappl and See kick off the new skiing season. The two Paznau family areas have a great deal of novelties on offer on and off the slopes this winter: Apart from the first permanent Zibob®-run in the world, Kappl is extending the skiing day with early birds' runs and woos families with many all-inclusive services to the newly founded Sunny-Mountain member establishments. In See, Ski-Hit passes with attractive discounts ensure a maximum of skiing fun in the ski region.
A world first and early birds' runs on the slopes of Kappl
On 16th December, it's "The season is declared open!" in Kappl. The skiing area of Kappl-Dias is surely among one of the most beautiful in all of the Silvretta region and lots to offer with regard to convenience, fun and action. A total of ten lifts, more than 40 kilometres of optimally prepared slopes for beginners and experts, as well as a fun park to provide some variety. New this season: Long before the lifts start running in the nearby towns and villages, every Monday you can leave your first tracks in the sunniest skiing area of the valley. To this end, the Dias-, Alblitt- und Alblittkopf lifts start running as early as eight o'clock. The extra hour "Tracks in the snow" is free with a valid ski pass. The start of the season also sees the family skiing area host a world first: The first permanent Zibob®-run in the world. The starting point is right below the Sunny Mountain restaurants. This whale of a time for all age groups extends for 350 winding metres, which 4 riders can negotiate simultaneously. A convenient return haul to the starting point is provided by Austria's longest roofed moving walkway. Also new: Guests of the new Sunny Mountain member establishments can enjoy unlimited free rides on this unique Zibob®-run. These newly established, very family-friendly Kappl hosts score points with attractive all-inclusive offers for children and adults: Room rates include, for example, free child care in the guest kindergarten of the Sunny-Mountain-building and the fun mascot Flaxi of the Sunny-Mountain-Adventure Park, who will accompany the kids on their holiday on the Flaxi-bedding set, Flaxi-toothbrush kit and the Flaxi-bath towl.
This way, it's the kids, too, who can't get enough of the Kappl skiing area. The main reason for this is the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park, a fun & Action arena for kids which packs a punch. Be it the ski merry-go-around, kids' mogul slope or snow cave – here everything is geared towards the needs of our little guests. Of course the crew of the Kappl skiing school makes sure there's not just play, but learning, too. More info at: www.kappl.com.
Ski-Hit passes sweeten the skiing season in See
Just in time for the Christmas holidays, on December 17th it's "Off to the slopes!". New this season are the Ski-Hit passes: These are tied to attractive special services, such as free gear servicing and a carving course as well as the option to try out the latest ski models at a special price. There's plenty enough space for this in the skiing area, as in See 33 guaranteed white kilometres of slopes between 1,050 and 2,450 metres above sea level, mogul slopes and a fun park for snowboarders provide lots of variety. The wide slopes are ideal especially for families with kids. Parents can leave their offspring in the hands of the guest kindergarten right in the middle of the skiing area – free with the new Ski-Hit pass – and enjoy some swings on their own without a care in the world. Those winter sports enthusiasts who still cannot get enough can enjoy night skiing once a week on the flood-lit panorama downhill run. The crowning finale – also new this season – is formed by the subsequent Fire & Ice-Show with fireworks. Those looking for variety in See off the slopes: The six kilometre long nature tobogganing run is considered one of the most beautiful and longest in Tirol, and thanks to floodlights is even opened at night twice a week.
