The Birkenhof has been in operation as a horse ranch since 2009 and houses 6 Haflinger horses along with other animals. The Haflinger is especially popular and sought after in the Paznaun region due to its secure footing and good nature, which is especially suited to rides through high alpine areas. These especially good natured horses, with their long blond manes, are sure to win over your heart as well.
Enjoy a rejuvenating horse ride on one of the six Haflingers and discover the Galtuer countryside on the back of a horse. Of course we have well-experienced riding instructors available for guided riding tours and rides.

Riding lessons
Riding lessons are a great way for you to enjoy yourself on your summer holidays in Galtuer. At the Birkenhof you will be offered a variety of riding courses. You can take part in a group course or enjoy an individual lesson.
