GALTÜR – WIRL WINTER FOOTPATH

The 6.5 km winter footpath between Galtür and Wirl incorporates only gentle inclines and therefore requires only an average level of fitness. Experience the snowy landscapes of Galtür, the highest town in Paznaun at 1,600 m which is protected by the towering mountains of the Silvretta Group. Numerous 3,000 m peaks are close enough to touch here and the striking summits define the landscape. Galtür is all about high Alpine winter sport!

ZEINIS – KOPS WINTER FOOTPATH

The area surrounding the Zeinissee & Kopsstausee lakes is one of the most idyllic spots in Paznaun. Impressive views of the protective peaks of the Silvretta Group await at the border between Tyrol & Vorarlberg. The winter footpath which runs towards Zeinis – Kops is approx. 11.5 km long and includes moderate ascents.

SILVRETTA – BIELERHÖHE WINTER FOOTPATH

This 18 km long winter footpath is challenging but the dreamy panoramic mountain views and deep snows of the mountain landscapes make all the effort seem like a distant memory. It’s not hard to enjoy the sun-drenched Bielerhöhe (2,040 m) with the impressive Silvretta reservoir.

WINTER FOOTPATH TO THE FOREST CHAPEL

This 9km long winter footpath requires a good level of fitness – but the effort is quickly forgotten as views of the powerful Ballunspitze (2,671 m) open out from Galtür. This route takes you to the romantic forest chapel -  showing off the most beautiful side of nature!
