Indian Day
Adult Skirace
Barrel stave race: from 8.30pm at Gampele.
Boards from curved barrels, so-called “staves,” are used as a ski-like means of transport. The whole thing is attached to the shoes by leather or plastic straps. Solid, screwed bindings, as they are used on alpine skis for example, are not permitted.
Wednesday
Stamp game “Search for Siggi”
The most fun stamp game for all children and adolescents: on the pistes, behind the trees, at huts etc, boards with the mascot Siggi on, have been hidden. Get a stamp card from the ticket offices at the Birkhahnbahn or at the Silvretta Galtür Ski-School. When the pass is full, there is a little gift from Siggi from 3.00pm on the stage at the valley station of the Alpkogelbahn.
Intersport Wolfart Ski-trial: Ski-trial for a daily rental price of €19.00
Night ski run: 7.30 – 10.30pm, Birkhahnbahn
Thursday
Avalanche-Peeps Guiding: at 11:45 am at Ski- & Snowboardschool Silvretta Galtuer KG
An introduction to avalanche awareness, reading snow profiles, correct handling of avalanche search devices and probes – Anyone can take part. Cost: €34.00. (For all ski-school attendees, this is included in the course programme.) Meeting point: ski-school assembly point.
Registration in the ski-school offices: from 4 people.
Ski-safari: The first ski-safari in the world
Take “Piste-bullies” (piste-grooming vehicles) to the Kops reservoir, the starting point for a diverse forest run down into the Montafon area near Partenen. Then take the Vermuntbahn up to 1,739m and take mini buses on a tunnel route up to the Bieler Höhe. Registration at the Silvretta Galtür Ski-School offices!
Speed-run with photo: 1.30 – 3pm on the Speedway in Sector 03
Find your own personal maximum performance and get a snap shot from 4.30pm from the offices of the Galtür cable–car company in the village centre.
Intersport Wolfart Fun & Style:
Try out 2 new styles of skiing on pistes….Snowblades (Extra short skis) and Twin-Tips (double ended ski tips for skiing backwards and doing pirouettes on skis!) for a daily rental price of €10.00.
Friday
Children's ski race:
Every Friday it's like being at the Olympics. Everything is in place, with electronic timing, musically accompanied award ceremonies, medals and winner's cups.
