Take the Birkhahnbahn cable car to the mountain station and follow the marked trail to “Klettersteig Silvapark”. After about 30 minutes, you reach the entrance to the via ferrata.
The via ferrata
The route starts at 2,250 metres above sea level with a steep, chimney-like ramp – not for the faint at heart! With an altitude difference of 351 metres, the via ferrata mostly has a difficulty level of grade B/C, with the exception of two grade C/D sections with overhangs. After about one hour, you reach the summit.
The descent takes you down the via ferrata in a north-westerly direction. Simply follow the climb tracks secured with tread plates and grips. At about 2,250 metres above sea level, you are back at the entrance of the via ferrata. From there, follow the trail back to Birkhahnbahn cable car.
