Night race for little cross-country fans

Heads’ up parents and children! As well the big cross-country skiers, on 25th March 2021 little, up-and-coming cross-country skiers are very well catered for too. With night-time Galtür as the backdrop, young cross-country skiers have the opportunity to show their mettle.

The best thing? Being there is everything. Literally – each participating child will receive a prize at the prize giving ceremony – which means that everyone is a winner!

Kids Race at a glance

  • When: 24th March 2022
  • Race start: 6.15 pm 
  • Finals: 7.05 pm
  • Discipline: night-time sprint with free style technique
  • Where: Hotel Luggi (behind the hotel)
  • Participation: free of charge, number of participants is limited, anyone

On two skis through night-time Galtür. Even the presentation is exciting! Everyone who participates in the race is part of the qualification, which starts at 6.15 pm Around an hour later, at 7.30 pm, the finals in the children’s categories will take place.

Eligible for participation are children in the following classes:

  • U7, U8 & U9 mixed: 2012 to 2014 
  • U10, U11 & U12 mixed: 2009 to 2011
  • U13 & U14 female: 2007 to 2008
  • U13 & U14 male: 2007 to 2008
  • U15 & U16 female: 2005 to 2006
  • U15 & U16 male: 2005 to 2006
