Spinal cord injury must become curable

Since 2017, the Silvrettarun 3000 has received the "Bronze-Status" by the supporters at "Wings for Life". Since eight years, the "Silvrettarun 3000" and thus all participants have been supporting this foundation.

The reason for this is really very simple:

"At the Silvrettarun 3000, people with paraplegia cannot participate. But the desire is for everyone to be able to join in. With this support, we want to make a contribution towards making this possible one day!"

Together with your help we are supporting Wings for Life in their vision.
5 euro of the entry fee for each participant is pledged to the foundation.

In order to realise its vision, the non-profit Wings for Life foundation is supporting promising medical and scientific research projects and clinical studies around the globe.

Wings for Life was founded in 2004 by Red Bull CEO Dietrich Mateschitz and the two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner with the aim of finding a cure for spinal cord injury.

To date, Wings for Life has funded 82 international research projects* at renowned universities and institutes. The discoveries made through these research projects provide hope that it will be possible to improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injuries and bring about their recovery.
