2nd Cross Country Climb

Hillclimb from Galtür to the Bielerhöhe

The Cross Country Climb starts in Wirl in the direction of the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe in the HARD (30 km) and LIGHT (15 km) routes. On the two routes, the cross-country skiers have to overcome between 860 and 370 metres in altitude. The public race is open to all.

Austrian Long Distance Championship 2023

The Cross Country Climb is part of the Austrian Championship Long Distance. Registration for the Austrian Championship Long Distance is only possible with ÖSV code.

  • Skating - Free technique
  • Public race (open to all) - " Österreichische Meisterschaft Langdistanz" as a race in the race (own classification).
  • The race counts towards the Austria Cup
  • No FIS race, no FIS points will be awarded
  • directly in the start/finish area
  • Refreshment stations:
    • Baggerloch: 1,772 m
    • Bielerhöhe: 2.057 m
  • 1x meal voucher per participant
