At the Kids & Juniors Race in Galtür, young cross-country skiing talents show what they are made of! As part of the Galtür Nordic Volumes, children and young people can take part in an age-appropriate race in free technique or classic style – open to anyone who enjoys exercising in the snow.
The course lengths are perfectly tailored to the age groups: for the youngest participants, the course is 350 metres long with a gentle 5-metre elevation gain per lap, while older children and teenagers race 730 metres with an 11-metre elevation gain – exciting, safe and child-friendly.
Whether it's their first racing experience or little pros in action: the focus here is on the joy of cross-country skiing. What's particularly nice is that participation is free and everyone receives a prize at the award ceremony – because every child is a winner.
