Mark this weekend on your calendar, because on the first skiing day in Silvapark Galtür, pure skiing pleasure awaits you. With guaranteed snow and plenty of happiness, the season starts optimally. But that's just the beginning: Throughout the weekend, good vibes and musical entertainment on the terraces of the mountain huts in the ski area add to the enjoyment.
As the crowning finale, the Zipflbob World Championships take place on Sunday – an absolute highlight! You shouldn't miss this winter opening in Galtür if you want to be among the first to conquer the dream slopes in Silvapark, celebrate the start of the season with numerous top events, or experience an unforgettable opening weekend with the whole family in the heart of the Silvretta. 3rd Zipflbob WM
The Zipflbob World Championship in Galtür is the highlight of the opening weekend in the Silvapark. This exciting event offers thrills and fun for all ages. The short but fast bobs provide an action-packed atmosphere as participants showcase their skills on the challenging track. Safety is a top priority. Musical entertainment and a warm, social atmosphere make the weekend an unforgettable experience and serve as the perfect introduction to the winter season.

- Friday, 06.12.:
- Kick off the ski season at Silvapark Galtür and enjoy pure skiing fun with your family on 43 kilometres of snow-sure and perfectly prepared slopes!
- Celebrate with us at the Welcome Party in Biwak 66.
- Saturday, 07.12.:
- From morning till 6:00 pm, you can hit the slopes non-stop.
- Take the opportunity to test the latest Fischer Sports models for free.
- The Allerscheynst'n (unplugged band) will provide musical entertainment throughout the day in the ski area.
- From 3:30 pm, music and good vibes will fill Huberstadl, before moving on to the Aftershow Party in Biwak 66.
- Sunday, 08.12.:
- Join us for the 3rd Galtür Zipflbob World Championships. Here too, the Allerscheynst'n will provide musical entertainment in the ski area, perfectly rounding off the skiing pleasure.
Race Procedure
- If you wish to ski before the race, you can drop off your racing shoes directly at the Bergbahnen Galtür ticket office in Wirl. They will then be transported to Faulbrunn Alm.
- The race starts above Faulbrunn Alm. The easiest way to reach the start is by taking the Alpkogelbahn. Upon exiting, you'll see Faulbrunn Alm on the left and the starting area above.
- Please check in at the finish area at Faulbrunn Alm. There, you'll receive your race numbers, Zipfelbobs, and group assignments from us.
- Participants then proceed on foot to the start. The start is in small groups, divided into men's and women's groups with 5-10 participants each.
- The race follows a knockout format. Each group races, and the fastest from each group advances to the next round. The award ceremony takes place at Faulbrunn Alm, with exciting prizes for the top four places.
