The Paznaun valley for wheelchair users: inclusive holiday fun

The Paznaun valley is there for everyone! To make the picturesque mountain landscapes accessible for all guests, we strive to make the holiday region surrounding Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See as disabled-friendly as possible. Get active and find out about accessible sights and attractions – we want your stay to be carefree and relaxed!

  • The exhibitions at the Alpinarium Galtür are accessible to all visitors, with the exception of the roof platform, which is not wheelchair accessible. The building is also equipped with disabled toilets.
  • Galtürs cable cars are also easily accessible by wheelchair. A ramp is available for access to the gondola. There is also a disabled toilet at the mountain station.
  • Sports fans will get their money's worth on the municipality's outdoor tennis courts, as the facilities have been designed to be wheelchair accessible. Please note: tennis wheelchairs are not available on site, so please bring your own model with you!

The Silvretta Therme offers accessible facilities, ensuring a relaxing spa break for everyone looking to unwind.

The Cable Car Museum in Ischgl has facilities suitable for disabled visitors, making this cultural heritage accessible to all guests.

The Silvretta Cable Car in Ischgl is fully accessible to people with disabilities. The gondolas can be boarded at ground level, and there is a disabled-accessible toilet at the mountain station.

Signposted disabled parking spaces right next to the valley stations in the village:

Wheelchair-accessible lift to the boarding point for the Silvrettabahn A1 and Pardatschgrat A2
The gondolas feature an extra-wide, level boarding area and ample space for wheelchairs.


Up the mountain:
If you ask, the speed of a chairlift or T-bar lift will be reduced. This ensures that you can get on and off safely and enjoy a safe ride.

The following accessible toilet facilities are available:

  • Restaurant Panorama, Bergstation Silvretta- and Fimbabahn
  • Restaurant Pardorama, Bergstation Pardatschgratbahn
  • Restaurant Alpenhaus
  • Restaurant Gampenalp
  • Restaurant Höllboden 
  • Restaurant Slope Food

Further accessible toilet facilities are located at the Fimbabahn valley station, Pardatschgratbahn valley station and at the toilet facilities at the Silvretta car park East and the Florian car park.

The toilet facilities are freely accessible during normal opening hours.
Please note: Wheelchairs are not available.
Generally, there are no toilet facilities at any of the other mountain stations.

  • The new railway is barrier-free. Disabled parking spaces are located directly at the Dias Railway, and a lift leads directly to the entrance.
  • The tennis court in Kappl is easily accessible – without any structural barriers. Wheelchair users also receive a 20% discount. As tennis wheelchairs are not provided, users must bring their own wheelchairs.
  • At the See cable cars, lift staff are on hand to help wheelchair users up the steps and into the gondola. Please note: there are no disabled toilets at the facilities on the mountain itself.
  • The game sports waterpark is also accessible and has a water lift.
  • The tennis court in See is accessible. However, please note that tennis wheelchairs are not available and must therefore be brought along.
