The Alpkogel drag lift was built in 1060. Commissioned on 01/19/1961. With a length of 1620 meters, it was the longest ski-lift in austria.
2004, the new 8-seater lift "Alpkogelbahn" was opened. The snow has also been expanded.

On the 7th September 1976, the Ministry granted approval for the drag lift "Kops". The lift system was not in operation during the winter season, because the nature conservation law approval was missing.
After numerous negotiations and interventions, the authorization was granted on 22th March 1978.
