The region is a secret tip for families and leisure skiers, with Silvapark ski resort offering slopes for every skill level. What’s more, numerous mountain lodges invite you to stop by for a delightful break. However, Galtür also has plenty to offer away from the slopes and during summer. A climbing and bouldering park, snowcat safaris, cultural highlights at the Alpinarium – in Galtür, you’re spoilt for choice. A highlight for food lovers: Paznaun Alpine cheese, the culinary star of many traditional events.

Galtür is the epitome of purity and quality. Because of its high-alpine location and clean mountain air, it was named Tyrol’s first-ever climatic spa. Kappl‘s sacral buildings

Located at 1,056 metres above sea level, the village was named after a mountain lake (in German, “See”) that was buried a long time ago by a landslide. A water park built at the original site of the lake is a tribute to the village’s heritage – and the perfect place for families to have fun and splash about.
