Exhibition opening & book presentation "Die Obstdiebin oder Einfache Fahrt ins Landesinnere"

As a graduate in German studies, Barbara Tilg will be familiar with the works of great authors. However, the fact that she has chosen to take up a pencil instead of literary studies to discuss the well-known Handke novel 'Die Obstdiebin oder Einfache Fahrt ins Landesinnere' is quite unusual. Tilg, who calls herself a "drawing reader", engages in a cheeky and cheerful exchange of images with Handke's original. The resulting pictures are colourful, fresh, cheeky and headstrong, so that one could be forgiven for thinking that the fruit thief herself was at work here.
