Apprenticeship as a cook

The duties of a chef include not only preparing and cooking dishes, but also planning, purchasing, and properly storing food. Chefs create the menu and are also responsible for complying with food safety laws and hygiene regulations. Plating dishes is the final step after preparation. In our small, family-run business, we give our apprentice chefs the opportunity to actively participate in ALL of these areas! This makes the work with us not only varied, but also teaches them how to work in multiple roles simultaneously – an important skill for their future careers!
