Siggi’s Freeride Route at Silvapark Galtür is the perfect place for them to learn about safe conduct in the backcountry.

The first freeriding steps …

Freeriding is a spectacular outdoor activity that comes with potential risks. After all, the backcountry can be a quite dangerous place. At Siggi’s Freeride Route, kids and adolescents familiar with skiing and snowboarding on marked slopes learn all about the safe conduct in the backcountry. Experienced guides teach the little ones all they need to know before heading off for their first freeride tour at Silvapark.

First theory,

then freeride fun

First off, it’s all about theory. The instructors of Silvretta Galtür ski school let your kids in on the basics of safe conduct, safety measures and risks of the backcountry, showing them how to choose the safest route and respect the local wildlife.

With the constant risk of avalanches, the backcountry is a potentially dangerous place even for the most experienced freeriders. That’s why the freeride heroes of tomorrow also learn about the right use of avalanche transceivers at the practice area.

The first backcountry adventure

Siggi’s Freeride Route was designed to keep risks at a minimum while giving kids a maximum learning effect. Together with trained freeride professionals, the little ones can face their first backcountry adventure all safe and supervised.

The Silvretta Galtür cable cars are your perfect partner for safe off-piste riding. So if your little ones would like to experience a bit of backcountry freedom, let them take their first steps at Siggi’s Freeride Route!
